It's been a while since I've done a reality recap but that doesn't mean that I have not been glued to the TV watching my favorite reality dramas.
Last night Real Housewives of New York started up again. I am so happy that Bethenny is back , and just as happy that Aviva is NOT. I must say , I had forgotten how fast Bethenny talks. Just listening to her sometimes makes me worn out. Ramona doesn't seem as crazy this season, but in all fairness it has only been ONE episode that I've seen. Sonja ....just sad. More to come on that one as more episodes air.
Another new reality show we've been watching is Married at First Sight on FYI. I hope some of these marriages work out and others (Ryan and Jacyln) I just have no words. I feel sorry for Ryan and wonder what his thoughts were during these first few episodes. This is the second season I believe.
And, then there is Newlyweds the first year on Bravo. Mostly Vic and I just look at each other and are so happy that we have each other. All of these relationships this season seem so messed up. I wanted to see a positive lesbian couple but it appears that won't be happening this season.
Oh , I almost forgot about one. I only watched the first episode because it was filmed in Paris and I wanted to see the landscaping. Find my first love , also on FYI. The girl looking for her first love from college in Paris...happy ending but it would freak me out to the extent she went to find this guy. If it were a man looking for a woman I'm pretty sure they could get him on some stalking laws being broken. I also wonder how it would have turned out had he been married with a family.

September
Ok This September! I'm just as obsessed with the fall TV schedule as ever. I still watch too much TV. Some of the shows I'm watching or looking forward to watching: Gray Anatomy, Parenthood, Hostages, Sister Wives, Revenge, Homeland, The Little Couple, Person Of Interest, nashville,Scandal,Shark Tank,Amazing Race,Ray Donavan,Newsroom,Life Below Zero going to miss Breaking Bad..the final episode is on tonight. My DVR is on overdrive with all of this activity. Big Brother 15 came to an end with Andy winning. It was a very mean spirited year on BB and can only hope next summer is bettter. With that being said I didn't miss an episode and went as far as to watch the after dark episodes and many youtube/twitter and facebook posts..I need an intervention!
My sister turned 50 this year!
We enjoyed some peace with nature. Getting ready for a crazy busy October.

Reality TV Summer Update 2012
A quick update on what reality shows are catching my attention and some random thoughts.
Sister Wives: I'm so ready for them all to build a big house and be under the same roof again already. I feel for the kids and think the parents have been very selfish in this move. I'm ready for Cody to get a hair cut..I'd like the show better without him. Go Figure lol
Kendra On Top: Ive only caught a few episodes (maybe there have only been a couple?) I think she used to be cute and dumb. Now I just think she's a bitch and arrogance doesn't look good on her. Baby Hank is adorable thou! I could just eat him up!! The last episode I saw was when Hef came to visit in the helicopter. He looks soooooo old. I wonder about his two girlfriends that he brought..I'd bet they were his nurses.
Real Housewives of NY: I'm enjoying the new ladies on the show. Each has their own little quirkiness. I miss the old days with Bethenny and Jill but I'll still watch. I don't miss the one that had the gay husband..what was her name? They had the annoying little boys...Alex, That's it..Thanks Vic! :)
Real Housewives of the NJ , I love when Rosie is on! I was on team Melissa all the way even though I really feel sorry for Theresa because of her bone head husband but then I read Theresa's blog yesterday and I can see how alot of it may be true and now I even feel more bad for her..but I'm not totally anti Melissa, I love her and Joe they crack me up. I think Theresa is going to have her hands full with that bratty daughter Gia..Ms Crazy Eyes.
Real Housewives of OC, I loved the girls trip to Costa Rica. Poor fake Alexiis got attacked by the girls. I doubt any of it will make a difference thou. Hey at least she's beautiful..that will get her pretty far in CA
Mrs. Eastwood and Co. Vic likes this show so we watch it but it hasnt really caught my attention yet. I'll play on the computer and listen to it but rarely see a full episode. Not enough drama I guess lol
Kardashions: yep..I watch. I love the show and everything Kardashion except Kims latest beau...she could do so much better (or maybe I'd just like to believe that) I think with Kayne she will be with yet another guy that she has to constantly make apologies for his behavior.
So what are you watching? Agree with my take on these shows or not?

January 2011
I'm getting used to the fact that we are in a new year now. I've been getting the 1099s gathered for our property owners, and trying to set up my bookkeeping in a more organized fashion this year.
We have tickets to go see The Color Purple on Friday at the Van Wezel . I am super excited about that. I love going to live performances. Hopefully we will fit more of those in this year.
I'm fighting a cold/cough that has hung on way too long. Will most likey have to make another trip back to the Dr. for a second round of meds.
We have not made it back to the homeless camp since the day after Christmas but we have a few things collected and will try and make it next weekend. We want to get a few more propane tanks for pops heater before we go again.
My sister called tonight and is doing better. I had just made the decision today that I would not call or text or stop by her house again until I heard from her and then out of the blue tonight she called to tell me she was feeling better and keeping food down. I am very happy that she is feeling better and hope she will stay on the track to recovery.
I have to show property in the morning. I hope the people want the house and can move in by Feb. 1st. Our annual rentals seem to fill up fast. (knock on wood!) Wish our seasonal rentals stayed as full.
I've seen so many cute blog ideas lately for a yearly type blog project. One woman takes a picture of her feet whereever she is standing and did a year end blog with pictures thru the year of the places she stood. It was a clever idea but I never think to do that until after i've left a place. Ive been taking tons of pictures on my new blackberry but the quality of the pictures are not very good so I hate to post them. I've sent several to my facebook only to log on later and realize they are so dark you can't even see what is in them.
I'm not very good at keeping up with things I start *glaring at my treadmill that has not been used but once since I got it in October*. I'd like to think this year will be different but I kind of doubt it. We shall see.
I am just as hooked as ever to my reality shows...and the OWN network. I can't wait til Sunday when Mya Angelou is on Master Class. I'll try and do another reality review one of these days, I am always surprised at how many of ya'll watch those shows. Speaking of those shows, does anyone know if Sister Wives is coming back?
Anyway..I hope that your new year is starting off on a positive note. Smiles, Hugs and laughter sent your way!

Reality Review
It's that time again...Reality TV Review Time! And a reminder that tonight the new season of Flipping Out on Bravo starts! I love watching Jeff Lewis when he forgets to filter what comes out of his mouth.
Big Brother 12: this may just be the week we've been waiting for...Rachel to leave the house Thursday!yipppeeeeee!! I can watch without that annoying laugh maybe next week! I've had friends posting on my facebook page that they think Brendan is using her...I honestly don't think he is that smart. Pussy Whipped...yes! I've really gotten to like Brittany because of her witty Diary Room moments. She totally has my sense of humor.
Real Housewives of NJ: Last nights episode took them to Italy. I felt so badly for Caroline. Teresa and her rude little girls drove me crazy. I usually like Teresa but she really came off like a spoiled brat last night. And I don't believe for a minute that Joe wasnt drinking when he wrecked at 2am! His story about taking shots after the wreck seemed a little too well planned for me. It's funny, kind of like in real life when you say bad stuff about family but don't want anyone else putting down your family, That is how I felt when Daniel started commenting on Joe being drunk and driving..back off hussy those are my people. ha!
Real Housewives of DC: It's only been one episode and then the whole drama over the View..not sure I'm fellin this show yet. The snob level is tad too high for me.
This is the last week for Work Of Art. I'm gunning for Miles to win it. I'm really glad that I came across this show and hope it comes back another season. Every week there is Art that I either love or hate and I always turn it off promising to dig out my art supplies soon.
What did you watch this week, and what did you think?

Reality Recap
So I've been in reality tv overload! Let me share...
Big Brother...
I am so sick of Rachael that it is not even funny. My DVR cut off half of Sundays show and I didn't even care. Once I saw that she was HOH again this week I was ready to take the week off.
Real Housewives of NJ...
This week Theresa has her baby christened. I can only imagine what that cost! Way over the top..as in the gay wedding on Sex in The City 2, over the top! It would not have surprised me if Liza popped out and started singing. As much as I love that show I am ready for Danielle to go. Have not heard if she will be cast off or not..but Kim G is not a favorite of mine either. I hear that Theresa went on the View this week and they were mean to her..shocker.
RuPauls Drag U
I'm really trying to like this show but straight women just don't bring the drama that the drag queens do. It will do in a pinch thou and I have enjoyed the two episodes I've seen so far.
Work of Art..
I love this show and always feel like getting out my paint brushes or art supplies after it's over. I think Miles is brilliant and can't stand the chick that keeps doing nude shots. She's got a great body but I don't see the "art" in it. Miles is kind of like Adam Lambert on Idol two years ago...so above all the other talent.
I missed the Kardashians in Miami this week but the ones I have been seeing make me want to just smack the crap out of Scott. Grow the hell up!
My surprise show that I have fallen in love with is Bethenys getting married?
She was NOT my favorite NY housewife but I just love her show and that new baby is adorable. I think she picked the perfect guy for her and I love watching her with him. They compliment each other nicely.
This month brings back some of my old favorites Flipping Out and something else that escapes me right now.
Housewives of DC starts Thursday..not sure If get totally engrossed in that or not..oh who am I kidding...I will!
I tried to follow Hollys show but she wasnt my favorite Girl Next Door and those tube socks drive me crazy.
That's about it for now..What Reality shows do you watch?
