December 11-18

This week was a  pretty full week for me. Since it is the week before Christmas it is surprising how little holiday activities played a role in my time.

This week I ...

• Went to the doctor and got back on my meds for my asthma.
• Had my hair done..love it! Thanks Heidi..Venice Day Spa is the BEST!
• Ate at Peach's and had the yummiest four cheese quiche..twice!
• Had Friday Night Date night with Vic and went to Ivy's Steakhouse and then out looking at Christmas lights around town.
• Got my first order for my new business venture..www.suncoastgrocerygirls.webs.com!
• Talked to my BFF Steph and realized how much I miss her!
• Felt like I lost my bubbawoo.
• Filled up my jeep, gas is now $2.94 a gallon...yikes!
• Celebrated as DADT (Don't Ask Don't Tell) was repealed today.
• Caught up on All My Children from last week and this week.
• Found some new great blogs to follow after this weekends Lady Blogger Society Tea Party.
• Actually made a youtube video after slacking for so many months.

And Day 26 of my 30 Day Blog Journal...which asks me to describe my week in great detail. Ugh...who really wants to hear about that? My week was pretty boring. I worked, went to the beach, screwed up blueberry muffins,broke my TV last nite after Rachael won HOH again,fell in love with yet ANOTHER reality show(growing up Twisted)...yep that is about it..my week in great detail!

My Blood pressure for jumping sky high this week after being so good for weeks.

Days with "feel like" temps over 100! My electric bill is killin me!

Ok since I hate to leave on a negitive vibe I'll share the sunset last night with you..it was amazing.

Day 25 of the 30 Day Blog Journal

Day 25: your day, in great detail

Seriously? I am sure there are easier ways to put you all to sleep. Really? You want to know? Oh ok...here is a condensed "great detail" about my day.

• Took a bath and stayed in a towel for a few hours while I did laundry
• did not answer the door when JW couple came trying to push their "God" down my throat, I'm pretty sure answering the door in a towel would have scared them off anyway.
• Tried to make blueberry muffins only to find out after adding the milk to the mix that I did not have any eggs.
• Searched google for egg replacements and found flax seeds and water
• Went and added flax seed oil, forgot all about the water
• threw away muffins after seeing what they looked like and tasted like out of the oven
• Blogged,facebooked,twittered, talked to my sister on the phone
• cleared up issues with my mom about a crab boil this weekend-I had the wrong date
• watched All My Children, was shocked when David blackmailed Greenly
• welcomed Vic home, watched Vic go to bed way too early
• found a new show "Growing up Twisted" Loved it! Dees wife is hot!
• went to bed, arent you glad you know all of this?

Day 24 in the 30 Day Blog Journal

Day 24: Where you live.

I live in southwest Florida. About an hour south of Tampa in a beautiful town called Venice. I work in Sarasota on Siesta Key and love the beautiful white sand beaches!  I have not always lived in such paradise. I was born in North Dakota, have lived in Ill.,Nebraska,MN,GA and grew up in a small town in Missouri (Moberly, have you heard of it?) Anyway...here are some pictures of the area I live in..

Since my company has a website and it is posted on the side of my blog , or by clicking here I won't use that one..haha, but if you are looking for a vacation rental in Sarasota /Siesta Key Fl please by all means click on it!

Day 18 of the 30 Day Blog Journal

Day 18 my wedding or future wedding...

I have been married three times. My favorite line is that it took me three times until I realized being a lesbian was an option.

I am good friends with my ex's for the most part, the divorces were just as much me as it was them. I honestly have always been attracted to women but did not really think about having a woman as a partner until about five years ago. I had had girlfriends but also boyfriends or husbands being my main relationship. When that changed and I put the woman in my life first it was a real eye opener for me.

Another wedding isn't something I think about much because it's not legal in Florida. My partner and I are just like a married couple in many ways..we share a home, bank accounts,pets, etc. When I had hip surgery she stayed in the hospital room with me every night until I went home. Not all hospitals allow that, luckily mine did.
