Hello!
I hope that September is treating you all well. I can't even believe it's already the 12th ...we've been counting down to our Paris trip since March and it's finally less than a month away..so so so very excited !!
I've been doing so many new things lately that I kind of feel like I'm burning the candle at both ends. For example...
I'm doing reviews for sellers on Amazon -the boxes coming every day are very exciting but keeping up with the deadlines and who I owe what to is border line crazy..thank goodness for spreadsheets!
I'm also getting ready to take over newsletters and mailing campaigns at work. I love that sort of stuff but it's a big project to get up and running.
We've also committed to a membership class at our church. We've got another class next weekend. Not sure that we are going to become members at this point but we are enjoying going to the church and some of the church functions. Last night we had a drum circle, potluck dinner thing at the beach with a lot of the members of the church and people we've met through the membership class.
I've slowed down on Ebay right now because I don't want things to be running while I'm in Paris. I am thinking I really need to have a garage sale one of these weekends and just do a major purge with all of the stuff I've accumulated over the past few years.
And if all of that isn't enough I've really gotten into my new youtube channel. I have been watching youtubers for years and always wanted to set up a channel and do daily vlogs or some sort of program..I jumped right in last week. Starting with four subscribers and now I have 83 I think! I've really been working it and it's so gratifying seeing the progress everyday and reading all of the sweet comments. Another proof to me that putting things out into the universe makes things happen. ! :)
I hate to blog and run but this was just a quick update and now Vic is waiting for me to head out and do some grocery shopping. Please leave a comment and let me know you were here ..Have a great Saturday my friends!

Dexter exploring the back yard |
Woke up around 7:30, tried to watch some of the Hallmark Christmas shows that I had recorded but they just are not the same after Christmas so I deleted them.
I was a little antsy to get out of the house and do something, Vic wasn't. I went to the dreaded Walmart and picked up a few things. Vic mentioned getting retractable leashes for the littles so we could start walking them. I found a few other things and before I knew it the bill was over $200 ..yikes! I did score with the last GoPro remote. I put back the socks I was going to buy..and did not get a calendar so there is that. My impulse buy was a pillow for Vic's new recliner that should be here in a few more weeks.
Vic still wasn't in the mood to go do anything so I took the littles on a walk around the block by myself, with the new leashes. They loved them. It was tricky because Dexter wanted to wrap himself around every mailbox and tree. It was nice to get them out and get us all some exercise. I picked up a frisbee for Dakota (her favorite toy). We played for a bit in the back yard but it was too hot.
I started reading the GoPro for dummies book but quickly fell into nap mode. I guess Vic was trying to watch a movie and did the same thing. We did start the first season of Downton Abbey , we watched one episode and decided we'd try it another time. I think it will be good but my brain wasn't in the right place to try and keep up.
Tonight we had left over spaghetti from last night...didn't work as well for me this time. I kind of miss the joy of food but I guess that was/is part of my problem.
The Cowboys won today. That's always a good thing :)
Until tomorrow....

Happy July!
Happy July my friends!
It's been a busy summer so far! I have...
1. started selling on Amazon
2. had a girls week at the beach
4. spent the 4th of July at the beach with family
5. celebrated my nieces graduation from nursing school
6. closed on our house
7. started back up on ebay
8. went to the movies (Tammy)
9. celebrated 4 years blogging!
Now I'm just trying to catch my breath and find enough hours in the week to fit in work, shopping, shipping, watching big brother and play time with Vic and the furchildren.
What has your summer looked like?

Day Trip to Ikea
Vic and I have been planning on going to the new Ikea in Ybor for a long time now. In fact I think it's been there long enough that it is not even thought of as the "new" Ikea anymore. But anyway....today we made our plans! We printed a map...Ikea is about 72 miles from us..
We filled up...Gas has actually gone down to $3.85 a gallon, vs $3.88 that we paid last week. The trip didnt seem to take long at all. There were lots of people at Ikea today, but we were lucky and found a parking place right up front!
Here are a few more pictures from our day. We ate at the restaurant inside. Vic had the meatballs, I had chicken and pasta (bland) and we tried some dessert called Princess cake..it was delicious and very light.
We found a perfect toy for dexter! A very long alligator with a baby in it's mouth...We could just see him trying to drag that thing around the house!
We did pick up a few things we needed for work and got everything packed in the car and then the skys turned black and the wind picked up.....Scary drive home!!

What's For Dinner?
I hate having this conversation every night on the way home from work. Today while I was sitting on the beach with my sister she told me about E-mealz. It is this cool website that you sign up for that will plan your weekly meals at your choice of grocery store and print out a meal plan and shopping list that matches up with what is on sale at that store for the week! Each week they try to avg the grocery bill less than $75! I can't tell you the last time we spend less than $75 at the grocery store for a week and we still didn't have meals planned for the entire week!
So I came home and checked out the site and found that they also have low fat , low carb and even counting points (weight watcher) plans! check it out..I did and can't wait to start trying these meals!
