I have not done an update on my hair since November , it's now been 37 weeks since I have colored my hair in my journey into going grey naturally.
I am 48 years old and decided almost 9 months ago that I would like to stop coloring my hair and let nature take over with the silver highlights. I am enjoying the journey. I have gotten my hair cut twice since I started this and have another appointment this month. I am keeping it about the same length now but go in for a trim and to keep my bangs under control. This is a very easy style for me, I just wash it and let it go. When I'm ready to go out I use the straightening iron on it and I'm good to go. I'm not one to spend much time on hair or make up..I think it takes me about 10 minutes to get out the door in the morning after I get dressed.
Anyway..here are todays photos.

27 Week Transition to Gray Hair
Here I am almost 7 months in with no hair dye, no high lights and one hair cut. In different lighting I see more gray than others...It will come. In the mean time I'm enjoying the glitter of the silver when it catches my eye :)

Weekly Hair Update (week 22)
Pictures from this week:
I don't see the grey when I look in the mirror but when watching back some of my videos I'll notice the silver up on the top when I turn my head just right.
I'm still loving this shorter cut. It's very easy to style . I wash it at night in the shower and just have to take a straight iron to it the next morning to have this look. No muss and fuss which fits me perfectly. At this point I have not searched out special shampoo or hair products. I have been changing up my routine but mainly because I am doing some reviews for companies that sell on Amazon and I get the products free or deeply discounted for my reviews.

Hair Chalk
I tried the hair chalk tonight. I am sure that I did not spend enough time or do it the proper way because I have the attention span of a three year old. I did get the chalk wet and rubbed it on my hair and then straightened my hair to "set" the color. I can tell some places but it's not what I thought it would be like. I may try more later.
Here are a few other pictures taken with my cell phone (above two were taken with webcam)
